Welcome to The Coach House

A Characterful & Spacious Holiday Cottage in the Wye Valley

Tucked away within the grounds of our family home—yet fully detached, self-contained, and completely private—The Coach House offers the perfect countryside escape.

This beautifully restored historic building once housed the coach and horses of Wirewoods Green Manor. Today, it retains many original features, including the stable stalls, grand coach doors, and cobbled entrance, offering a unique blend of charm and character. With far-reaching views across the River Severn and stunning sunrises from the bedroom window, it’s a setting made for relaxation.

Comfort & Style

Ideal for families, couples, and dog lovers, The Coach House comfortably sleeps four guests, plus an infant or small child, and welcomes multiple dogs.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Bedroom 1 – King-size bed

  • Bedroom 2 – Twin beds

  • Travel cot and high chair available

  • A spacious family bathroom with a large roll-top bath and overhead shower

  • Cosy wood-burning stove, perfect for cooler evenings (firewood provided October–March)

  • Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen with Nespresso machine

  • Crisp white cotton sheets, plump pillows, fluffy towels, and high-quality furnishings throughout

  • Generous welcome hamper, plus tea, coffee, and other essentials to get you started

The large kitchen and dining area is perfect for family meals and evening gatherings around the table.

Outdoor Space

Step outside to your enclosed private patio with table, chairs, and BBQ—ideal for al fresco dining. You’ll also have access to our large paddock, with access to the Gloucestershire Way footpath and Offa's Dyke National Trail —a fantastic starting point for walkers.

Our friendly goats often graze in the fields behind the property, adding to the rural charm.
